Cassie Is The "Style Icon" Of The Week

 

I personally think Cassie's style has come a way. She has been seen rocking the latest high fashion  pieces from designers such as Givenchy, Marc Jacobs, and Gucci. She obviously rocks the heck out of her mini dresses and skirts on the red carpet but she also has sidewalk chic style. When she's spotted out and about with casual wear on she is still fierce. Her shoe game...crazy. Cassie's style is effortless and chic.  She will be one to watch out for in '09. Rihanna is the "Style Icon" of 2008!

Uber fashionista Rihanna has had yet another outstanding year in fashion. I already honored her earlier this year with "Style Icon of the Week" but it doesn't take a rocket scientist to know that she has this fashion thing on lock. I don't care whether she is dressed up or down she is always "Picture Perfect." Ri Ri has the "Rocker Chic" look down to a tee, she plays with colors, patterns and she mixes different elements together. Her stylist Lysa Cooper says, 'There's nothing she won't do or try once. She has no fear of being criticized. She's creative, youthful, risky...and fun. We can't forget fun!' With all that being said this is why I choose Rihanna to be the "Style Icon" of the year because she sets trends instead of follow them. Also Ri Ri's uninhibited at times avant guarde fashion sense is what separates her from the rest, as well as her inner and outer beauty. Vanessa & Angela Simmons are the "Style Icons" of the Week

59% of you voted for Angela and Vanessa Simmons. The Simmons sisters went toe to toe with Beyonce and Solange Knowles in the Sibling Rivalry edition of "Who's Got Style", Angela and Vanessa won. I decided to name them "Style Icons " because they have transformed into bonified fashionistas over the years. Vanessa's style is more classic, old Hollywood glamour. Angela's style is girly chic and edgy at the same time. These lovely ladies have their own shoes, clothing and handbag line "Pastry." They eventually want to evolve the line into a more grown up brand. The Simmons sisters will also be staring in their own MTV reality show spin-off of 'Run's House' called 'Daddy's Girls,' the show will follow their "lives in L.A. and what's going on with us," since making the bi-coastal move from The Big Apple. Solange: Plaid 'Night Out On The Town' Ensemble/Get A Similar Look

When I saw the pictures of Solange wearing a cute plaid dress under a trench coat while she was enjoying a night out on the town at Bungalow Eight nightclub In London, I said how cute. I had to replicate this look. It found this cute black plaid strapless dress, a khaki trench coat, a pair of red booties (alternative for her grey and red booties) and bamboo earrings in cream and black depending on the look you are going for.
